Seizure, Epilepsy and Emergency rescue Medication
This training programme takes delegates through both the theory of epilepsy management and a practical, hands‑on component designed to build confidence and competence in responding to epileptic seizure emergencies.
The theory element provides delegates with the essential underpinning knowledge required to:
- Understand epilepsy and how it affects individuals
- Recognise common triggers and contributing factors
- Identify different types of seizures
- Identify Adverse reactions and respond appropriately
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Safely Administer Life saving Rescue Medication
The practical element allows delegates to apply this knowledge in realistic scenarios, giving them the opportunity to practise safe, effective interventions and develop the confidence needed to manage seizure emergencies calmly and competently.
