Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid At Work (RQF)
Where a First aid needs assessment identifies the need for an Emergency first aider in the workplace, this 6 hour qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (first Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. Each learner will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a wide range of workplace first aid situations. This Qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by Specialised Training through First Aid Awards (FAA). First aid Awards are an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and SQA Accreditation and the Qualification sits on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
This qualification is delivered, assessed, and quality assured adhering to the assessment Principles for Regulated First Aid Qualifications, and delivered and assess in accordance with the current Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines. On successful completion of the course each candidate will receive an Ofqual Regulated certificate valid for 3 years.

The qualification is also suitable for people with responsibility for the provision of first aid in other settings such as voluntary and community groups. This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by Specialised Training through First Aid Awards (FAA). FAA are an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and SQA Accreditation and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies on a professional level providing the knowledge and practical competence to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations. This 12-hour qualification meets the requirements stated in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure adequate numbers of appropriately trained personnel. This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by Specialised Training through First Aid Awards (FAA). FAA are an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and SQA Accreditation and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). The qualification is delivered, assessed, and quality assured adhering to the Assessment Principles for Regulated First Aid Qualifications, and delivered and assessed in accordance with the current Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines.
This qualification runs over two days and on successful completion learners will receive an Ofqual regulated certificate valid for 3 years. We can also offer a blended option which would require each learner to complete an online assessment and only 1 day of classroom assessments.
