Safe Moving and Positioning / Handling of People Training
The Award in Moving and Handling People Safely qualification is intended for those working in or looking to start work in a health and social care setting and other settings where they may need to support an individual with reduced mobility.
The safe moving and handling of people training course is a key risk area for both the handled individual and the handler. This qualification enables learners to understand and demonstrate key handling principles.
During the course delegates will learn about the legislation relevant to Moving and handling of people as well as safe practical skills that will enable the delegate to risk assess and then safely move a patient.
