Conflict Management and Resolution Training

Conflicts can be an almost daily occurrence regardless of where you are or your occupation, it is a human trait to want to be heard and understood. From customer relations to workplace differences, conflict is important to understand, resolve and prevent in order to work more productively, build better relationships, and feel more confident.

How to prevent conflict

Specialised Training can work with you and your team to spot the common causes of conflict. Understanding why we have conflicts can give everyone an insight into how to handle them more effectively. Triggers such as negative behaviour and acting without thought or concern can be within a mindset, along with physical signs. So, the use of words and body language is an important aspect.

Handling conflicts

You may read about the 5 C’s, 5 A’s or 3 R’s of conflict resolution but they all have similar key themes at their core. These include:

  • Being considerate, when listening to all sides, assessing the arguments, but also in your approach to handling and discussing any conflicts
  • Ensuring a calmness of mind and space, mindfulness, empathy and sharing in a peaceful and respectful approach.
  • Each type of conflict will require a different set of actions to aid its resolution. Well-handled conflict can build trust.

We will also work with you to help understand and analyse conflict better, again using non-verbal techniques and speech.

The process of conflict management can lead to better communication, trust, and improved conduct.
